“This is the video footage of last night,” I said handing my phone to him. I called them over after we saw the footage, and after Katie hugged me unexpectedly. I still couldn’t believe she did, I mean she hugged me without thinking about it.
That was a first.
“This can help us but I would like to ask you this.” He handed the phone back to me.
I nodded for him to go on then looked at Katie sitting by my right-hand side.
“Does this male in the video look familiar to any of you?” The officer asked.
I do not know him but there was this feeling inside me that he was familiar and was near. Because no matter how I tried thinking about it, someone far from us wouldn’t and couldn’t be the stalker. It must be someone who knows Katie so well.
“I don’t,” I said then looked at Katie
