The next morning was peaceful, there were no sounds of the kids screaming or laughing loudly this morning and then I remembered that Jack mentioned that they wouldn’t be around this morning. They were going over to Julia’s parent's house this morning and would not be back until evening.
I sighed and checked the time on my phone, s**t it was almost noon and I promise Evan I was going over to check on Katie in mamas house. I rushed to the bathroom and took a quick bath, I threw on black jeans, and a T-shirt and then put on my wrist watch picked up my bags, and left the room. I was going to get to school from there since the place was close to the university.
I picked my car keys from the shelf and rushed out after making sure the door was locked and kept the key under the rug.
