 [Bellamy]       The weight of the sedative began to lift and I started waking up. I was so comfortable. Warm, relaxed, unworried. I took in a deep breath and the smell of strawberries and sweet basil filled my nostrils. I tried to sit up.     Something was holding me down. I panicked a little and my eyes flew open. A tanned, muscular chest was all I could see. I recognized it and looked up.     Lucien was just opening his eyes. He held me tighter to him and I stiffened. What was he doing here? I pushed at him, but he kept his grip on me.     “I’m sorry, chouchoutte. I was childish. I should have talked to you and not blocked you.
