By the time we reached the hospital, I was fairly sure we’d seen every elder in the village. Lucien chuckled as I leaned more heavily against him.
“Is it overwhelming, chouchoutte?” He asked.
“A little. I’m trying to remember how to move and act at the same time as I’m meeting all of these people.” I sighed.
“They all keep saying what a sweet and timid girl you are. A couple asked if I kidnapped you from your pack and you just went with it because you’re so docile.” He laughed.
