Chapter 3 I have a photo for the evidence.

A sneer flashed under Joyce's eyes. They thought Daniel forced her when she was supposed to be Marina. When they realized she was Joyce, it all became her fault! However, she wasn't going to argue with Steven.
"Dad, you told me to do all these things!" Joyce clasped her hand together, and her eyes were filled with tears of aggression, making her look pitiful.
"What are you talking about!" Steven stormed out. "How could I possibly let you seduce Elsa's fiancé!"
"You told me Mr. Stowe's illness may never get better. If my sister married him, it would ruin her life! And you said you had adopted me and that the only way I could repay you was by marrying Daniel instead of my sister. " Joyce babbled.
Her voice was clear. Before Steven could stop her, the other guests had heard her.
These guests were all invited by Steven, and some of them were famous people in Los Angeles. Now after hearing Joyce's words, the crowd erupted in an uproar.
"The Willards have gone too far. They are afraid their daughter will live in pain if she marries Daniel. Their adopted daughter's life is nothing!"
"They didn't consider her feelings at all!"
"I heard the Willards did not raise Joyce. She was adopted after becoming an adult. Now they want to use the name of adoption to force her to marry a fool Daniel!"
"I also heard Elsa was in poor health as a child. The diviner said that if Elsa wanted to grow up healthy, they needed to adopt a daughter. The Willards adopted a girl from the orphanage before, but they sent her back after a few years."
"It seems like the Willards didn't owe her any favors, but their family owed Joyce. How unlucky Joyce was to be adopted by the Willards!"

Steven was nearly filled with anger as he listened to what everyone was saying. He had indeed thought as Joyce said, but he had changed his mind after listening to Eden's advice!
He felt the current Joyce was not easy to control, but they had already invited her to come to the hotel. He never thought Joyce would completely ruin his plan!
"Joyce Willard! If we hadn't saved you, you'd be dead! You slandered the Willard family, hung out with the wrong guys, and even blackmailed us. We didn't blame you! We've been good enough for you!" Steven said furiously, "Who the hell are you instructed? You dare to slander the Willard family without any evidence! "
Joyce looked at him mockingly. When had he ever saved her? And when did she ever blackmail his family? Steven was so cheeky that he could tell such lies without hesitation.
Steven's words were all for the other guests to hear. He wanted them to think it was all her fault. But it was clear to many that the Willards hadn't treated her well, and she didn't care to argue with him.
"But I have proof ..." Joyce bit her lip lightly as if she was about to cry. The crowd in the room was instantly uproar because of her words. They both wanted to know what evidence she had.
"You're lying! What proof do you have?!" Steven thundered, "If you have proof, show it to everyone!"
Joyce acted as if she was intimidated by him and said timidly, "Dad, we better not discuss the private affairs of our family in public. How about we discuss it in private??"
Joyce's face made Steven even more sure that she was lying. He said with a sullen face, "Joyce, you're lying! You have no proof at all! Stop acting! You are deliberately slandering us! We are going to break off our relationship with you today! "
In the past, he didn't think Joyce could play any tricks. But since she fell ill six months ago, she had been a completely different person.
Joyce handed over the phone. Steven grabbed it quickly. When Steven saw the picture on the phone, he felt a tightness in his chest and almost fainted.
Joyce took the photo while she was peeking at Elsa and Eden having an affair. Steven looked like he had just had a heart attack.
He had quickly locked the phone screen before anyone could see the photos.
Steven was getting mad. He didn't expect that someone would secretly take the photos. And this person is Joyce! Although he got the picture, he doesn't know if Joyce has backups.
"This doesn't count!" Steven said through clenched teeth. He thought a dumbass like Joyce probably didn't keep a backup.
"Daddy, if you say it doesn't count, it doesn't. " Joyce said, pretending to be obedient, "I have other evidence, but it's on the internet. Do you want to download it and show it to everyone?"
Steven was furious, and it seemed Joyce had backup photos. She was threatening him!
The Willards would have been disgraced if Elsa's scandal had come to light! Even if Daniel is not in favor now, his family won't let them get away with this.
None of them could afford such a consequence. What made Steven even more nervous was that everyone believed Joyce!
