Elizabeth froze for a second. She was not expecting him to say that.
“Your mom?” She asked, surprised.
“Yes, my mom.” He confirmed.
“Why would you want me to meet your mom?” She asked.
“The question should be, why wouldn’t I want to introduce the woman I like to my mom?” He asked, a ghost of a smile flashed his lips.
“Well. I didn’t know you liked me that much.” She shrugged.
“Well, Miss Felix. I like you more than you could ever imagine.” He said, making her heart to flutter.
He glanced at his wristwatch. “It’s almost time for you to close. You can go now. Go and get ready for tonight.”
“Okay boss. I’ll do that.” She said, smiling brightly.
He leaned in and kissed her on her forehead. “I’ll pick you up by 7PM Baby.”
