"What the f**k are you talking about, Steve? What do you mean my mama is dead?" Adeline said sharply.
Steve stared at her for a minute, then burst out laughing while Adeline looked at him with confusion.
"I'm just f*****g with you," Steve finally said after he was done laughing. "She is in a long-term care facility because I ain't taking care of her."
