Celestine's POV
I was just staring at Xyler's face because I didn't expect him to come here now. I couldn't move when he approached me. I secretly gulped when I saw that one corner of his lips was slightly upturned towards me.
"Would you like to greet your investor, Ms. Dela Peña?" he said, tilting his head slightly to the right.
"G-Good morning, M-Mr. Gutierrez. We're glad you made it ON TIME," I stuttered, emphasizing the last two words. He chuckled softly and bowed his head. He bit his lower lip to prevent himself from smiling too much.
I quickly looked away because I felt my cheeks heating up from his laughter. Damn that laugh! It sounds so handsome!
"Let's get inside the van," I told him as I passed him to go with the others, and I could feel him following behind me.
