AURORA’S POV Holding my coffee, staring between it and the door, I realized I was nervous about seeing Lucas. I hadn’t seen him since the party, and I wasn’t sure how I was going to react to seeing him. At one point, I had thought I loved him. Now, I wasn’t so sure if that could be called love. Each person who opened that door set me on edge as the time neared for him to enter. Looking down at my coffee again, trying to refocus myself and ignore my nerves, I must have gotten lost in my mind because suddenly, there was the sound of a sliding chair in front of me. Looking up, I saw Silas sitting across from me. “What are you doing here?” He shrugged. “I came early. Is that a problem?” “Yes, it’s a problem! I’m supposed to be meeting Lucas here shortly. I can’t have you around when I’m ta
