It's been two days since the meeting and after my fight with Lia. I am not ready to let her go in a situation where I don't even know myself.
I would have gone but the problem is almost everyone knows me and I don't want any attention while I am there to investigate.
My lycan Zeus told me last night that Lia is perfect for this mission and she has lycan blood. She can handle any tough situation. And since they don't know about her, she would be a perfect choice. I agreed with him. I sighed thinking I don't have any other options than that.
I got up from my chair and made my way toward Lia's room. I sighed and pushed the door of her room open. She was sitting there facing the window. Sensing my presence she looked back at me.
" What are you doing here?" She snapped at me.
" Well. I came here to tell you that you can go," I said and she shot up from the bed immediately.
" Seriously?" She asked. Her eyes lit up.
" Yes."
" But, Eliot will be with you and he will stay there for a few days after he makes sure what is going on in there," I said and her mouth formed an o.
" When can I go?" She asked, sitting back in bed.
" After three days. You can pack your things," I said.
" Already done," she said with a big smile on her face.
Before I could say anything to her Eden told me that Eliot had arrived and was waiting for me in the living room.
" Coming," I said and closed the link.
" Eliot had arrived here and was waiting. I need to go," I said and she nodded her head.
I shook my head in disbelief. She once again made me fall into her trap.
I turned around and made my way towards the living room where Eliot had been waiting for me. I noticed that he was sitting with my beta Eden and was seriously talking about the matter of elite college. The rumours had already spread around the supernatural world like wildfire. And the most shocking thing is that whenever a human disappeared from the college no one from their family ever tried to contact the college or even come to the college.
" Your highness," Eden stood up when I walked towards them and bowed his head. Eliot also stood up to show me respect. I nodded my head at them and motioned to sit down. I walked around the royal white sofa and sat down.
" Eliot," I said.
" It's been a long time since you have visited us. I hope everything is well," I said. Even though he is my cousin's brother, I can't trust everyone so easily in the royal family. I always tried to keep an eye on every single member of my family. What I don't understand is that my men didn't find anything suspicious about him for a long time and I don't believe that anyone can stay clear.
" I heard the rumours about that college and I don't believe that whoever is doing it didn't leave any clue. I came here to investigate," he said.
" I also need your permission to do this," he quickly added. I nodded my head. Eden wanted to link me but put the guard on because what I had noticed about Eliot he is too smart and I don't want to discuss anything over the link in front of him.
" Lia is going there. And I think you both should go there together," I said and he gave me a curt nod.
" Take a rest. Eden will take care of everything else that is needed for both of you to go there," I said as I stood up.
" Thank you. Your Highness," he said.
" I should thank you. Many Alpha's backs out to go there when you, yourself, moved forward to volunteer," I added.
" It will be my greatest pleasure if I can solve this," he said, also getting up.
" Very well. Excuse me," I said and walked towards my room. Where no one can eavesdrop, even when you are a lycan. Eden followed me behind shortly.
" I think he has an ulterior motive," Eden said as soon as we entered my room.
" Let's see. I need you to appoint our best warrior to keep an eye on him even when he leaves with my sister and keeps us updated with everything he does," I said and he nodded.
" Make arrangements for them. I need to call their principal," I said. He turned around and left the room.
I slumped on my chair thinking it was quite strange for Zeus to stay quiet like this. He didn't talk to me after I told him that I would choose a mate. But I had brought up this idea many times in the past but none of the time did he act like this.
" Zeus?" I asked.
" Listening," he said.
" Are you okay? Is there something going on?" I asked.
" I felt your energy, it's nothing like it used to be," I added.
" Something is not right, I can feel it. I just don't know what it is," he said and went silent.
Maybe we should go for a run after everything settled in. I didn't let him run for a while now because of my busy schedule.
I picked up the phone and called the principal of the elite college. I wanted to let them know that my sister is going there and I want him to be on his best behaviour while she stays there.
The phone rang twice and he picked up.
" Your highness!" He said quickly picking up the phone.
" Glad to know that you still remembered me," I said sarcastically. I heard him gulp audibly over the phone.
" I called you to let you know that my sister is going there with my men to investigate things thoroughly. I don't need to tell you what to do, do I?" I said.
" I understand. Everything will be ready," he said. And with that, I hung up the phone.
After I hung up the call I began to think about what Zeus had said. To be honest, what he said and what I felt about his strength is strange. I need William to be the best doctor so far. Maybe he can shed some light on the matter. I sighed thinking that the life of the king is not as easy as they think.
