Chapter 8 Brody doesn’t think he’s good with kids, which is funny because, for some reason, they’re always flocking around him when he draws in public. He gets so invested in his sketches that he doesn’t even notice at first, but kids seem to have a sixth sense when it comes to someone doing something they want to watch, and whenever he glances up, he finds himself surrounded. Evie isn’t the first to approach him while he’s drawing, and Brody’s grown used to the attention by now. Most kids like to draw, and when they see an adult doing it, they want to watch.
