Hestia and Hearthof had their lunch first before they got down to the real purpose, he has to meet her immediately.
“Is it really necessary?” Hestia still couldn’t believe what she heard just now. “I don’t know how mafia wars happen in reality but I’ve watched action movies before and that’s a literal bloodbath.”
“That’s what my father intends to do. It was the other party who trespassed first his territory, whoever that crazy guy, he provoked a sleeping beast to wake up.” Hearthof looked at the tea in front of him, thinking if he should drink it or not because of the herbal aroma it exudes.
Hestia can see the hesitation to Hearthof’s expression so she drank her tea first without any reaction since she’s used to the taste of herbal medicines. “Try it, it’s good for your health.”
Although Hearthof knows Hestia’s taste preference, he still took a sip of the tea and as much as he wanted to conceal his disgust with the taste, he failed to do so. “Are you unwell? Why are you drinking this kind of tea? No offense but I don’t like it.”
“Haha. It’s good though.” Hestia stood up and took the jar of honey on the tray above the wooden drawer. “Put some honey on it, then taste it again.”
“Why didn’t you say so earlier?” Hearthof put a spoonful of honey on the tea and mixed it well before he had a pre-taste on the teaspoon he used. “I think I can drink this now.”
“Geez. You have an American palate now, you already forgot what Korean tea taste like.” Hestia snorted.
“That’s not true. I occasionally drink Korean tea while I’m in America and this isn’t what it tastes like.” Hearthof frowned at Hestia and asked, “How could you even drink it like your drinking honey water? It tastes so awful without honey.”
“Alright, I lied. I got it from Lolo’s house, it’s called Kuding Cha. It’s good for diabetes and regulating blood sugar and cholesterol. It also detoxifying since it has a lot of antioxidants like coffee. Chinese medicine use Kuding to treat or relieve certain symptoms such as headache or promote weight loss by activating digestion.”
“Well, I don’t have diabetes. I rarely eat sweets and no one in my family has diabetes. I’m also watching my cholesterol by having a balance diet meal. I honestly prefer black coffee than this Kuding Cha. Also, if I have headache, I’ll just take a pill, as for weight loss that’s the least of my problem.” Hearthof ranted. “I know you mean well and I can take all your antics but don’t mess with my food and drink. Spare my digestive system with your good intentions which I really appreciate but I have to refuse.”
“Got it.” Hestia nodded. “Anyway, back to our main topic. Is there a possibility that your Dad’s men retrieve the ‘Pink Magic’?”
“Well he told me that he’ll arrange a team to sneak on Dada’s vault to get the ‘Pink Magic’. Because your family published it on the world news, the necklace is most likely kept in a vault instead of being shown to the public. That would be a stupid move to whoever acquired the ‘Pink Magic’ through the black-market auction.”
“Touché.” Hestia nodded in agreement. “I know I shouldn’t feel relieve knowing that there will casualties in the impending war but I want the ‘Pink Magic’ back to me.”
“You’ll get what belongs to you.” Hearthof assured her.
Meanwhile, in the private plane going to Sweden.
“Don’t you have better thing to do but to kill people?!” Ves snapped at Kevin who just killed everyone in the plane.
“What do you think I’m here for? To sit back, relax, and enjoy the flight to Sweden?” Kevin retorted sarcastically. “I don’t interfere to your job so don’t question mine.”
“Now what?! Do you know how to fly this plane? Because I don’t!”
“Geez. Will you calm down? Boss always plan things ahead.” Kevin walked towards the pantry and took two suits from the drawer.
“Why I didn’t know about this?” Ves took off his clothes right away to put on the skydiving suit.
“Now, you know.” Kevin put on his suit and walked towards the emergency exit door of the plane once he’s done with his preparation. “Do you know how to skydive?”
“I don’t but do I have a choice now?” Ves looked at the dead bodies around him. “I should’ve known this is how it’s gonna end.”
“Well, you’re not a fortune teller.” Kevin opened the door. “Up to you whether you want to live or die.” he jumped without hesitation.
“I never thought I’ll do James Bond stunt for real. I didn’t sign up for this kind of action.” With a loud beating heart and adrenaline rush, Ves jumped off the plane and followed Kevin in the air.
“I almost think that you want to bury with them!” Kevin shouted to Ves who’s still balancing himself in the air.
“How are we going to land?!!” Ves shouted back.
“Pull the straps on your shoulders!” Kevin instructed.
Ves looked for the straps and as if he left his brain on the plane, he pulled them right away even though they’re still 30,000 feet high from the ground.
“F*ck!” Kevin looked at Ves as if he’s looking at an i***t. “That’s too early!” he thought that Ves was just panicking as obviously it’s his first time but he noticed the shiny thing floating in the air. “Is that …” the diamond they stole just now.
The twenty-four-karat diamond is floating like magic in the air and Ves is struggling to reach it with his right hand while his left hand on the handle of the parachute.
“I’ll never gonna work with you ever again!” Kevin maneuvered to Ves position and caught the diamond with his hand.
“Thanks, Superman!” Ves smiled like a fool at Kevin as he put his right hand to the handle of the parachute to balance himself.
“You’re the worst sidekick ever!” Kevin put the diamond in his pocket and zipped it tight. “I should’ve done this job alone.” He muttered as he pulled his parachute when he reached the right altitude. “We land on that mountain!” he pointed out. “I won’t pull you down if you ended up on a tree!”
“You don’t mean it!” Ves also convinced himself that Kevin won’t leave him to die if ever he really ended up on a tree.
“Do you see me as a kind-hearted person?” Kevin smirked at him.
“I … I’ll give you a truck!” Ves knew that Kevin wants his own truck.
“Deal! I want one of your collections!” Kevin agreed right away.
