Scarlet Winters

Getting ready for the celebration

I slipped on my 3 – inch heels and took a look at myself in the mirror. I have done my hair with half way curls and kept my make up simple with smokey eyes having shades matching my dress and light pink lipstick which goes with my face.

My dress was beautiful. It’s a gift from my parents. They choose well.

When I reached my room, I was amazed to see the dress hanging.

I gasped on seeing the dress,"Gorgeous" I forget to blink on seeing the dress. My friends screamed loud, making me look at them and smack in their ass.

“Damn Scar, the dress is too sexy” Jenni said walking over to the dress. I smiled at her reaction.

So here I’m, wearing the dress. It’s a dark green satin, with a v – neck floor length dress with a slit up to the mid way of my thigh with a matching green heels. This dress is completely backless up to my waist and It shows my well definite curves of my body. It’s definitely sexy.

I wore an emerald set matching my dress. A stud matching with the necklace.

Satisfied with the way I look, I turn to my friends, “So, How do I look?”

Jenni and Noah are near to my mansion and we often stay together in my room. We are so close to me so they have their couple of dresses here in my room.

“Sexy hell Scar, you are smoking hot. I would have married you if I have been boy”, Jenni pulled me into a hug.

I teasingly kissed her cheeks and laughed, “Nooo I have already found my mate so you are out of the league, better luck next time cup cake". she rounded her eyes and looked at me and I laughed at her reaction.

Just then Noah entered the room giving us a curious look, "So what's up?"

"Jenni wanted to marry me", I giggled at Jenni.

"So you are straight", Noah joined me teasing her. Jenni pouted at us. We giggled on seeing on her reaction.

“Anyway, You look gorgeous Scar. You would turn many people in today”, Noah winked at me.

They were attractive in their dress. They are so gorgeous as me. Jenni wore a knee length black strapless dress with a matching diamond stud. She looked flawless like always. Her special future is her chubby cheeks.

Noah shined in her silver cocktail dress with a matching pearl set and high heels. Noah is always keen about her dressing that she doesn't like to show off more.

Jenni grabbed her camera from her back pack and started clicking away us.

“We need to have a memory of these days’ babes, let’s start clicking away, show your bitchy poses”, Jenni replied brightly clicking us.

“Sure baby girl”, I said showing my curves with them. After our capturing moments, we are damn tired of giving different poses and fell in the couch.

There was a sudden knock on the door,"Come in" I called out to see who it was.

"Ms.Winters, Your parents and everyone are waiting for u", my maid announced and left us.

"huff, let's move girls", Noah breathed out. We all take one last look at the mirror and walk outside the door.

When we were about to reach the stairs, there was a whistle sound, I looked down to see it was Will, “You all girls look beyond beautiful. Everyone save me a dance?” he winked at us. Will was in a black tuxedo. He knows how to impress girls.

“Always Will”, I kissed his cheeks.

“Let’s see you dumb ass”, Jenni teased him by flicking his nose and kissing him in his cheeks.

“Don’t dare to flick my nose again Jenni”, Will shouted at her. When they were about to start a fight, “You", Noah pointed us, "Get yourself together you jack asses, let’s get moving”, Noah hissed.

You know she is a time keeper. Perfectionist.

I moved to the big banquet hall where the party is held. I just starred the hall. The hall is decorated with different kinds of flowers, with a beautiful royal curtains, royal chairs, a huge crystal chandelier hanging magnificent in the center of the hall, a big bar, a buffet which has every continental dishes and a huge dance floor and in the middle stood 6 feet red velvet cake. There are so many people waiting for me to wish for my birthday.

My mom showed up in her cute pink gown. She was young to her age. I know why my dad is so much into his Luna.

“Hey baby girl, you look so gorgeous”, my mom gave me a hug and kissed my cheeks. “You know there are boys who gonna hit the bottom today”, my mom chirped as a small girl.

I pouted, “Mom you are being so dramatic nowadays”

Jenni winked at my mom, “I said the same Grace, and she doesn’t believe me”

"You are so beautiful mom, dad is gonna fall head over heels again", my mom blushed so hard that her cheeks turned red, I kissed her cheeks hard by putting my hands on her cheeks.

“Let’s keep moving, your dad is waiting for us”, my mom said to us moving away inside the hall hiding her red cheeks.

I saw my mom suddenly hardened on seeing the crowd, I moved close to my mom whispering in her ears, “Is everything okay mom?”

She gave me a knowing look, I looked into eyes, there was pain, secret, a mixed emotion, “Nothing much dear, if anything I’ll let you know. But remember that I’ll always love you no matter what. I have always loved you and your father so much. Everything I have done to this family is because of love and care and to keep this family alive”

I was so confused by her words. “I know mom, I will always love you no matter what" Ya I loved her. so much.

As I was about to ask what does she meant by her words ‘done everything’ we have already moved half way to the celebration hall. I tried to ask her, but as soon as I landed my ass in the hall, everyone bombarded me with several wishes,

“Happy birthday Scarlet”

“Happy birthday gorgeous”

I started moving with my friends in between crowd to greet all who came to wish me. We pass a large group of people and go further into the hall to meet my dad who is speaking with a guest, behind him is his beta.

“You are here, my dear” my dad gave me a hug "Happy birthday my love", he kissed on my forehead.

He introduced me to his friends who blessed me.

“Found your mate dear?” , One of my dad’s friends asked me.

I was shocked that I couldn’t utter a word; I don’t know how to react since my dad is watching me sideways. I gasped for air. I blinked at him without saying anything.

“No, she will soon Mr. Johnson” my dad saved me from the terrible heart attack.

I breathed out loud. I don’t know where is my mate now.

Jenni and Noah shrugged seeing me.

“They are here, Alpha”, my dad’s beta growled into my dad’s ears.

“Who is here dad?” I asked pointing at his beta.

“Nothing dear, some old partners", He pointedly looked at his beta,"Enjoy yourself dear it’s after all your day”, he moved out of the hall with his beta.

I know something is fishy but I don’t want to interfere in my dad’s work. We couldn’t stand in his way.

When I turned my attention to my friends who were eyeing all the male wolves.

“Got any ass that you girls like”, I teased both of them by throwing my arms around their shoulder.

“Nope, just some couple of boys who show off their big balls here and now”, Jenni sticking her tongue out.

Noah shrugged. And Will was surrounded by many girls who were flirting with him. And he being Will never missed the chance.

A total playboy.

“Let’s go and have some drink”, Noah moved to the corner of the hall.

The bartender arranged the glasses and looked at us for orders. We ordered our drinks and started to talk about girls who were with Will. We had a couple of shots, since it’s my birthday party I don’t want to turn myself in. Will, Noah and Jenni were lost in their own drinks. They were having every drinks around the bar.

“Don’t get boiled up and f**k yourself with others. Stop drinking more”, I teased them.

They didn’t care about my words, and where too immersed in their drinks.

The bartender placed a glass of white wine in my hand," A special drink for the birthday girl" I smiled at him and took the glass to smell it and it really smells heaven.

I inhale the wine again. Ya it really smells heaven.

Wait heaven.

I smell again, yes it is. I sniff so hard that I could smell more. More of him.

My mate.

Oh my gosh.

My mate is here.
