Chapter 4 new home

Casey's P.O.V

  Katherine and I pulled up at her house and her mom and dad were already waiting outside, when we pulled into the driveway of what they called the pack house. I jumped down from the truck and looked around, this was nothing like where I lived before. I felt so scared and alone, I had no one now and I felt so lost, I didn't know where I would end up. When I came around the truck to meet Katherine and her parents, I just stood there in awe, looking up at the house, but it was more like a mansion. There were houses in the back, a huge outdoor pool, people were way in the back and it looked like they were play-fighting. It was all so confusing to me, just hours ago I lost my foster parents and now I didn't have anything. Katherine's mom put a tender arm around me and squeezed my shoulder.

  "How are you holding up honey?" Kacey, Katherine's mom asked me. 

  "I don't….I don't really know, I honestly don't, one day they are here with me and the next they're gone. I only kissed them goodbye before I went to school hours ago. This doesn't seem real to me at all." I said, shaking my head. 

  "Is it ok if I hug you honey." Kacey said, sighing, I nodded yes and Kacy hugged me tightly, as I started crying once more.

  "You're family now honey and you can stay here with us. You will be safe here." Kacey said, hugging me tighter and Katherine's father Ron walked up to us. 

  "Little one, we are your family, don't ever worry where you're going, because your home is now with us baby girl." Ron said, softly rubbing my back.

  "Come on, we'll show you to your room ok." Kacey said, I nodded and grabbed onto Katherine's hand, she was my best friend and I felt safe with her around.

  Katherine's P.O.V 

  "Hi, my name is Bella, can I walk with you two?" Bella said, walking over to us. I smiled at my friend, Bella always knew when something was wrong and she was always there to help. Bella took Casey's other hand and we walked into the house together, all the while my mom led the way to Casey's new room on the second floor. 

  "Girls help her be at home. She's going to need it." My mom whispered to Bella and I. 

  "If you need anything at all, you let me know and you will get it ok." My mom said, smiling at Casey. 

  Casey's P.O.V

  I nodded and put my bags down on the floor, I took a look around and still wasn't sure about all this. I sat down on the bed, tears started forming in my eyes, as I looked down at a photo of me and my parents. It was a day at the beach and we took a picture together, just as a bird was flying by them, it was a perfect photo and a perfect day at the beach.
