Bex’s party

“Woah, what’s wrong?” Liam reacted to my screams. I hyperventilated as I came to terms with Liam standing in front of me. He put his hand to my shoulder and moved to my eye line. “Are you alright?” He asked me but I was speechless from trying to gain my breath.  “Come on” he said guiding me out the front of the house. I sat on the curb by the road and took in deep breaths. I don’t know why I’m being so dramatic. All Liam did was grab my arm, why am I freaking out so badly? “What’s going on?” Liam asked. I blinked slowly and then managed to bring my breathing to a normal pace.  “You just scared me, that’s all” I replied and he waved his hand in disbelief. “Don’t be so stupid Elle, there’s more to it than that” he pestered. I wanted to tell him everything, fall into his arms and feel protected by his muscular physique. But we were ‘friends’ and I didn’t want to waste my breath.  “I must have just taken those shots too quickly” I explained and he lowered his eyes to my legs. “Hmm” he hummed. He stood to his feet and held out his hand to help me up. I grabbed it and stood up. We went back inside without saying another word to each other. Gemma rushed over to me and asked “f**k, are you alright?!”. I nodded and then shouted over the music “yeah, let’s go and dance!”. She laughed at my sudden enthusiasm and followed me to the garden where everyone was dancing by the DJ station. I rolled my hips, allowing my skirt to flow delicately. My waist twisted and swerved to the beat. The music had an extremely sexy vibe to it which forced my body to slither seductively. My head was spinning from the shots that were kicking in. I noticed Liam looking at me in the corner of my eye so I grabbed the closest guy to me who was fairly good looking. Without speaking a word to him, I turned my back and rolled my hips in time with his. His hands gripped onto my love handles and controlled my rhythm. Shutting my eyes and taking in the beat from the speakers, I pushed against him, lifting my hands up and running my fingers through my hair. It was as if I was having s*x with him with my clothes on. His hands wondered to my thighs and slowly tickled to my cheeks. I giggled and emphasised the movement in my lower half.  Fuck it, if I’m single now then I going to f*****g act like it. I turned to face the guy and wrapped my arms around his neck. Our bodies were brushing against each other and his legs were entwined with mine. “Mmm, f**k you’re so hot” the guy breathed in my ear. It was nice hearing a compliment from a stranger. I never really had that before, it was the first thing he had said to me. He put his hands onto my bum and grabbed my cheeks gently. I could hear him groaning as his boner rubbed against my leg. Liam was still watching with his cup covering half of his face. Soon enough, the anger got the better of him and he stormed towards us. He stood behind me and pulled my arm to twist me round to him. I gasped at the strength and authority he used to claim me. I tried to hide my smile and said “Liam? What are you doing?”. “Err, excuse me mate. Do you mind?” The guy said and Liam flashed a smug grin.  “I think she’s done with you” he bluntly replied. I looked over at him apologetically and he walked off into the crowd. “Why did you do that?” I asked slightly annoyed at his mind games. “You think I’m gonna just stand there and watch him molest you?” He snapped. I tried really hard to control my humour but couldn’t help but feel smug about the situation. Besides, if he was just doing me a favour then he wouldn’t be dancing so close and intimately with me. I suddenly felt another buzz in my bra and I stiffened. I took out my phone and opened the message. Unknown  I can see right up that skirt of yours The blood drained from my body and I shuddered. I panicked and scanned through the crowds with my eyes, looking for someone who either seemed familiar or was watching me. I could t see anyone.  Elle Who is this! Unknown Your so tense, maybe I should come and give you a hand I was beginning to have a panic attack. I was so frightened and Liam was starting to catch on. “Elle? What is it?!” He queried whilst trying to look around for a clue. I sighed and gave in, I gave the phone to Liam so that he could read the messages. The devastation on his face caused me to feel guilty for not telling him sooner. The devastation turned into fury as he got to the recent messages. Liam took me away from the garden and into one of the bedrooms upstairs. He locked the door and continued to scroll through the conversation.  “Elle, this started at the beginning of the week. Why didn’t you tell me about this?”. Liam looked utterly traumatised. Not by the messages he was reading but because I have had to deal with the pressure of it all on my own. I sucked in my bottom lip between my teeth. I didn’t know how to answer him. He took my hand and interlocked his fingers through mine. He laid a soft kiss to my hand and sighed.  “I’m such an i***t” he whispered to himself. I shook my head, disagreeing with his opinions. “I didn’t tell you because I was scared that you would brush it off. You were so mad at me that I didn’t think it was the right time to tell you” I explained. He squeezed my hand a tightly and used his free hand to turn my chin so I was looking up at him.  “It doesn’t matter what is going on between us Elle, you can always talk to me about something like this” he firmly said. His eyes were wide and serious. It was as if he was trying to drill the words into my brain so that I speak to him next time. I continued gazing at him and he looked down at my lips. My body was slightly swaying from the alcohol that swirled around my body. Just as I thought he was going to kiss me, he leans back and forces a grin. “I’m going to get you some water” he stated, stroking my cheek with his fingers.  “Stay right here” he commanded and he unlocked the door. He left me sitting there with my mouth slightly parted from confusion. I actually thought he was going to kiss me then. I made my way down the stairs and out to the front of the house to get some fresh air. I sat down on the curb, took a deep breath in and laid onto my back flat as I exhaled. The grass was cold and a little bit damp but I was too drunk to care. My head was spinning far too much for me to be sitting up right. I just wanted to rest my head for a second. I gazed up at the night sky and admired the twinkling stars. I suddenly heard a familiar voice that startled me into sitting up straight. “I told you that I would see you soon”.
