CHAPTER 6
The morning became an anti-climax with nothing unusual happening. However, Kevin and Susan still had no memory of the journey there in the Jaguar, nor did they remember the events of the night before or, if indeed being elderly was their 'real' self. They thought of Jacey and himself as old visiting school friends but were vague about how this was so. Again short comments Jacey or himself made about their school lives were readily accepted by the pair as reality.
After a somewhat frustrating few hours when all the small talk about the village or the fictional school lives was exhausted, Jacey grabbed Travis's hand and hitched a smile to her face.
"Okay if we go for a drive back to the village, Susan?" she asked.
