"Now bark!" Khaleed growled.

Justin flinched at the sudden growl. The tense atmosphere made the audience hold their breath.

Although he has the urge to follow Khaleed's command, he still has an Alpha blood himself. He bared his fangs and a low growl escape, protesting at Khaleed's command.

"You're not our Alpha, I don't obey commands that are not from our Alpha." Justin said without looking directly at Khaleed. His eyes were looking straight ahead while baring his fangs.

Jaiyana raised an eyebrow, 'so you're going to follow his words even if it's shameful if he is your Alpha?' Jaiyana wanted to ask Justin but she held back since this is not the occasion where she should stand out and it will only lead her into trouble.

It would be better for the situation to end if either Justin or Michael dies however it seems that would only happen in the near future.

"So you would rather declare war on us?" Khaleed asked in a dangerous tone.

"If that is what it would take for you to pay for this humiliation then so be it." Justin stared directly at Khaleed, it looks brave and the action is commendable. Not letting anyone humiliate your pack and declare war despite knowing the slim chances of winning, although its stupid, he is brave for not backing off and standing up for himself and his pack. It is worthy of praise, only if his knees were not trembling and his wolf did not shut him off and hides somewhere in fear. Justin's pride won't let Khaleed humiliate them further, and him, as the future Alpha, won't let anyone step on him and his pack's name. Khaleed caused them humiliation already. A supposed childish fight turned into war. Just thinking about it made Justin's head ache.

Khaleed laughs and so did the Alpha of Agrios Royal Pack because when Justin stated that they are declaring war on them, they did not feel Justin's wolf with that declaration just now. And the crowd felt it too. Justin's wolf did not show up with this war declaration. They are werewolves and declarations of war should be stated on their wolf form or at least at the presence of their wolf, but Justin's wolf did not show up.

The other members of Red Moon Pack sweats at the idea of war with the Agrios Royal Pack however they couldn't just back down from this humiliation.

The smirk on Khaleed's lips did not disappear as if he's ready to trample on Justin anytime and his words did not affect him even the slightest. To be this confident amidst of war declaration, just where did he get that confidence from? Jaiyana wondered while observing Khaleed. There was a sudden sharp glint of anger on Khaleed's eyes that caught her attention, it was just a two seconds and it immediately disappear.

Anger, madness and excitement. All three emotions in just two seconds. Jaiyana had always been sensitive to people's emotion even when she's younger so those emotions didn't escape her eyes.

Khaleed and her eyes met and a sudden urge to get close to him made her avoid his eyes. It was too much. Her cheeks reddened from embarrassment. She knows he is handsome, but to suddenly meet his eyes and the urge to get close to him.... 'It's too much. Jaiyana shut her eyes tightly, to be still embarrassed when I'm already nineteen and get stared at by a sixteen or seventeen years old, and having this urge towards him, a minor, is too humiliating.' Is this considered child abuse? She wonders. How disgusting and perverted could she be? She can only imagine herself getting arrested for assaulting a minor. She's currently at the body of a 14 year old, she wouldn't be arrested for having thoughts about a 16 year old kid, right? Damn it. What's with this hormones. Jaiyana scolded herself.

She stabilized her mind then opened her eyes. Khaleed is no longer looking at her. She begins planning on her next steps while the scene in front of her unfold. She doesn't know how this war will end but she knows amidst war, there are casualties of properties, dead bodies, childrens who were victims of war, and cuts of food, water and electricity supplies.

Jaiyana wonders what kind of war will this be? They are werewolves and werewolves are predators of the wild to begin with.

So cutting off the electricity supply won't be an option, but the food and water supply. Maybe they won't be able to get ang services from other territories since there are some territories that are allied with Agrios Royal Pack. Jaiyana predicted. If food supplies were cut off, the pack will rely on the wild.

To create the whole situation into declaration of war, she wonders what benefits Khaleed would get aside from territories, businesses and reputation? And for Justin to declare war at the age of sixteen or seventeen, she feels that it's too much. She still processing this information. Usually, the elders and the Alphas are ones to declare war, not some kid who hasn't reached adulthood yet, but people takes Khaleed's and Justin's words so seriously.

"From now on, Agrios Royal Pack and Moon Shadow Pack are enemies." someone whispers.

After the declaration of war, the school continued without further delay, however the atmosphere suddenly changed. The two sides clashed without holding back even in the classroom. The werewolves who were not involve would leave the room and watch as the other gets bashed on his face, get his arms ripped off, his legs torn off.

The frequent visits to hospital of the Moon Shadow Pack became a headache to the Pack's hospital however they were unable to complain since this is war. Agrios Royal Pack got their damaged minimized. If there was one Agrios Royal Pack who's wounded, it will be due to Moon Shadow's Pack ganging up on him. It was a fifteen to one ratio, the fifteen being the Moon Shadow Pack and one member of Agrios Royal Pack.

The pack didn't have the time to deal with Jaiyana when she got back home which she was thankful for. They had to deal with the on going war. Justin was almost ripped off of his status due to his wolf being a coward despite having a werewolf blood. It should have been a heavy punishment however since there is a war, they can't punish him heavily since they will be short of manpower and they are trying to take care of their status, especially Justin's status as the Alpha's son.

There is only one thing that shook her off. She found her 'father' Dave and Sally dead on the spot with Hannah crying and asking for a response. She asked for help with her other neighbor to dig a pit and bury her father and step mother. It was raining heavily that night. No one wants to help so she dig the pit by herself however due to the heavy rain flow and having a weak body of a 14 year old, she couldn't finish the pit so she ended up burning the body. The werewolf body shouldn't last 24 hours without being burned or buried or a rotten stench would spread around.

She didn't have the time or capability to process grief, she went around getting herself busy while taking care of Hannah. She didn't cry but she doesn't also feel great. So she busied herself with saving money, taking care of Hannah and going to school.

She still went to school and run errands for money. You want to copy her assignments? you need to pay up $5. She developed relationships with people outside the pack and got herself a job at a computer shop nearby, earning her a $13 per hour while babysitting Hannah.

She would do some research paper for college students and earn $500. She gritted her teeth, it's easier to bully kids and gain $1500 out of it but due to the on going war, she couldn't do it.

She was exhausted, she barely slept that night due to her research, work and taking care of the traumatized Hannah, so she's too tired to notice she's about to pass by a group of Agrios Royal Pack. Her eyes were hollow and her head were full of thoughts of sleeping somewhere. She's looking at the floor while walking when she suddenly bumped into someone who has a strong body, her body almost hurt from bumping into it.

She raised her head only to see one of the Agrios Royal Pack. Her knees weakened, not because she's scared but because the moment she just stood there, she can feel the exhaustion overcoming her. Two hands saved her from falling on the ground and the other person shakes her but she didn't respond. She only stared at that person and her body could no longer take it, she no longer gives a f**k about dignity, integrity or whatsoever. She's going to sleep here whether it rains or shine, whether there is war or peace. f**k everything, she's going to sleep.

"Is that her?"

"She is that one."

"Dude, why is she like that?"

"How am I supposed to know?"

"She was absent yesterday."

"She looks exhausted, lie her down here."

Someone carried her into princess carry and lay her on the bench. Someone even put a towel as a pillow to her head. Some people watch Jaiyana sleep. She didn't even flinch and just slept there despite being surrounded by guys.

"Did you call him?"

"He is on the way."

"Hahaha. Look at him go the moment he hear she's here."

"That fucker is in denial."
