CHAPTER FIFTEEN Another dead end. Dakota was getting sick of these. Back at the hotel, she sat on the edge of her bed, her laptop open next to her. The small glass bottles had been tidied and put in the recycling bin. Her suitcase was neat, angled parallel to the wall. Everything about the room was properly arranged. Even the bathroom curtains were symmetrical now. Dakota liked cleaning things, liked organizing. It gave her a sense of control that she so sorely lacked in other areas.
