CHAPTER TEN It hadn't been difficult to find a hotel. She'd received a couple of strange glances from the desk clerk while checking in so early in the morning and requesting no room service. Now, though, laying on the queen-sized bed, her eyes closed, Dakota felt her thoughts drifting. A couple of the small bottles clinked together where they rolled at the foot of her bed. The mini-fridge was already half empty. At least she didn't have to share a room next to Marcus. He was shacked up on the floor above hers. A mercy.
