It's been 1 year and I am even more in love with Alex now than I ever have been. He is amazing and really did step up. I am extremely disappointed in Eric, he really dropped the ball as a father. He only comes around sometimes. He always gives the kids a sorry story about how he couldn't leave the little baby and how she and Beatrice need him and he has the nerve to tell them "You guys understand, right?" Luckily, Alex picks up his slack and he does not mind. This weekend is the grand opening of the hotel that was built in town. I am so excited for that. Work has been going good.
