We sat on the floor beside the mattress in the room so that we could talk while keeping an eye on Olivia. It was such a relief that my mate was able to heal her. Seeing her battered and bruised scared me shitless. My conscience kept ringing like an alarm. It continued to tell me that Gail must have done something to her. However, before I could point fingers at anyone, I would have to be sure.
Regardless, when Harika healed her, I was shocked, yet grateful. Hearing that my mate's wolf was blessed was another surprise. I was astounded, but I supposed that I shouldn't be too astonished. After all, she got to meet our moms in the other world. That was something I thought could never happen.
Nonetheless, I believed her when she said that she did.
