Chapter Ten
When nothing happened after several minutes and there were no more strange banging sounds Aloha decided they would go out the door where there had been no sound, the one she decided would be their best escape route.
There was no point in walking into a possible ambush.
The two fire doors were identical. Both were made of steel and both were painted an identical shade of beige. The biggest difference was one led to the hallway on the first floor, the other to the outside.
Aloha knew this but decided if she and Hanson went through the door into the hallway the zom’s would have the high ground and the advantage. She needed to assess the damage and see where they were. If she could get to her office she’d be able to use the zombie proximity detector to locate The Wanderers
