I had said yes to a video call. What in the world was I thinking?

The thought died, and panic settled within me as a slow tune played from the phone. Aiden was calling.
I stood up, pacing the porch as I stared down at the phone. Now that he was calling, now that I was sure this was about to happen, I wasn't sure if I wanted to do this anymore.
