Zachary’s pov I was leaning against the wall, staring at her. She was busy bandaging the arm of a kid who fell while training. David was a tough kid. He lost his parents in a rogue attack, and we found him abandoned near our pack borders. He rarely opens up with anyone, but with her, he seemed comfortable. His cheeks taint red as she says something, and I see him lowering his head shyly. She has that effect. I am a victim of it myself. Patting his head, she turns around to leave when David grabs her wrist. Her surprised eyes match his, and he motions her to crouch down.
