"Hey! What happened earlier? Why were you late? What happened? Did someone harass you?" I've bombarded Avery with lots of questions.
That was the first time ever she was late in all classes we had.
I sensed that there's something interesting happened to her earlier based on the reactions I saw the moment we interrogated her. Of course, Hanna had sensed it, too.
We both knew Avery, wholeheartedly. Among the three of us, she is the best. A pretty face with brain. Well, we both are pretty stunning, but apart from that Avery is so sweet and a simple girl.
