Chapter 4 Leaving home was not the emotional scene he’d witnessed so many times in movies. The only tears were from his mother. When they embraced he felt many things. He felt the love that he hadn’t always been sure was there. He felt a little sad that they had hugged only rarely before. There was even a tinge of loneliness, for while the majority of his life he’d led a lonely existence, ‘home’ had provided a certain comfort. From that time on he’d no longer have that comfort.
