Robyn and I walked down the steps leading to the massive lawn where the freeform stretch tent was erected. The sun was starting to set and the air was starting to cool but I felt no need to cover myself. I wanted to look good for him, and I felt confident that I would. Robyn had helped me tame my curls and use them to my advantage. She had styled them to fall over my one shoulder, opening up my back to show off the low cut design of my emerald green dress. She walked beside me, her arm linked into mine with a celebrity smile spread across her face. “You look stunning,” I told her, feeling giddy with excitement as we approached the tent lined with thousands of fairy lights.
