After the meeting with Mr. Bartlett and the HR Department, Alicia feels completely drained. Telling her boss that one of his most trusted employees is stealing from the company was not the way to start her day, but now it’s done, and she can take a breath.
“Seriously!” Susan smashes the phone back into place, and Alicia looks at her way.
“Susan, my office, now!” Mr. Bartlett barks making her jump.
“Great.” She mumbles and follows him into his office.
“Is everything all right?” Alicia asks Mrs. Bartlett, and she lifts her eyebrow at Alicia.
“I’m just going to say that she’s not you.” She laughs rolling her eyes, and Alicia walks into her office to find a huge bunch of flowers on his desk.
The card reads “Thinking of you", and she smiles. He is so sweet.
