Alicia is rushed to the hospital by ambulance and Mrs. Bartlett along with Noah are told to wait in the waiting room while they attend to Alicia in the emergency room. Mr. Bartlett has instructed his wife to make sure that Alicia gets whatever care she needs. “Has she been ill?” The doctor comes into the waiting room to get the history of her health from Mrs. Bartlett. Mrs. Bartlett confirms that she has had a small cold and scratches through Alicia’s handbag, finding the medication that she has been taking. The doctor frowns, and Noah doesn’t look happy. “What’s wrong?” He demands. “This is what gives clinics a bad name. This medication is not for a cold. I need to get back there!” He rushes out of the waiting room, leaving them behind to worry. Mrs. Bartlett struggles with the idea
