Alicia is not surprised when she walks into the office, and Susan isn’t there yet. She quickly sets up Mr. Bartlett's office the way he likes it, then makes sure Mrs. Bartlett’s desk has everything the way she likes it before going to her office. Putting her things down, she switches on her computer and walks out the door to make some coffee.
“Good morning, Alicia.” Susan smiles.
“Morning, Susan.” Alicia stops in her tracks.
Susan takes out her lipstick and fixes her make-up before packing her handbag in the cupboard. She takes out a lunch box and walks over to the kitchen without saying a word about the desks that have been set up or asking Alicia for coffee.
Alicia follows her into the kitchen to make coffee and to see what Susan is up to, finding her having breakfast.
