Alicia takes a seat behind her desk and is surprised to see Noah standing in front of her smiling… Grinning, in fact.
“Noah, what can I do for you? Your mother should be back shortly. I’m sure Susan won’t mind keeping you company until she returns.”
“Oh, I’m actually here to see you. Uhm,” He frowns, turns around, and walks out of her office.
When he returns, he is carrying a bunch of flowers and hands them to her.
“I got you these and was wondering if you would like to have dinner with me?”
“No. I’m working.”
“What about tomorrow night then?”
“No, I will be working then as well, and every night after that.” She looks up from her paperwork, sighing.
