EASTON
November 14
We were still standing outside in the cold, Minnesota November air. There was already snow on the ground, but Minnesotans everywhere were trying to deny winter's inevitable presence. My fingers were still underneath her chin, and I was staring into her sapphire blue eyes. I felt some sort of strange warmth when I had touched her chin, but I didn't know if she had felt it, too.
I definitely had strong feelings for Ty, but I wasn't sure what those feelings were. I had never had a girlfriend, let alone loved someone. I wasn't sure if I loved Ty yet, yes, I did say yet, but I definitely liked her, despite only just meeting her. I knew it sounded crazy, liking someone you just met, but if it was crazy, then why did I feel this way about Ty?
As we were standing there, staring into each other's eyes, I wanted to do something so badly, it was burning inside of me, but I wasn't going to do it unless she asked me to.
"Ty, say something, anything," I whispered.
