Jett felt as if he was not able to breathe. All Twix knew was that there was a fire at Jinx's house and Zev ran into the house while it was fully inflamed. The gas line was never turned off, and there was an explosion. Zev had shifted, but shrapnel from the explosion had caused some severe damage. He had called Sut, Ronin, and Logan as he and the others took off for the station.
Ryder slammed on the brakes, and Jett jumped out. Illan was there to meet him. "I figured you would come, son. I'm glad you're here because Zev is going to need you right now."
