Rhys walks into the room. He had left Cohen outside charged with an important task. He feels like he knows a lot more now, about Ve, about his mother. At the very least, he knows the same if not more than his father.
Knowing how she came to be at his side, knowing that it was only because his father didn’t care to listen at all. The information after was incredibly limited, but Cohen was able to paint a picture of a very hardworking, happy and bright little girl, the same girl he remembers coming to his side that day.
