Rhys walks into the room. He had left Cohen outside charged with an important task. He feels like he knows a lot more now, about Ve, about his mother. At the very least, he knows the same if not more than his father about what happened in the lead up and after of her disappearance.
Knowing how Ve came to be at his side, knowing that it was only because his father didn’t care to listen at all not that she magically got better after entry into the royal pack. The information after entry into the pack was incredibly limited, but Cohen was able to paint a picture of a very hardworking, happy and bright little girl, the same girl he remembers coming to his side that day.
Her bright smile and her introduction, and he had just turned and walked away from her.
