Chapter 87 - You have nothing to lose and something extra to gain
“Kilala si Nathan sa pagiging promiscuous n’ya...” Reubert continued with his story. “Lahat na ata ng babae sa klase ko naikama na n’ya. Napaka rami n’yang nakarelasyon na babae at mga omega. So, everytime we get into an argument, maghahanap s’ya ng ibang partner... multiple partners, just to piss me off.”
“He’s still able to do it with other people?” I asked, wide-eyed.
“What do you mean?” he asked me back.
“Usually, a person who has met their fated pair and are currently staying together, looses their s****l interest for others. Unless...”
“Unless?”
“Unless they are forcefully separated. Then one or both partners, particularly the omega, gets a higher, insatiable thirst for sex.”
“G-ganon?” now it’s Reubert’s turn to look surprised. “Hindi naman ako naghahanap ng ibang partner... Noon pa man mababa na ang s*x drive ko. Ngayon nga lang ako nakaramdam nang ganito, eh... at para kay Nathan lang `yun!”
“It’s undestandable since you’re a dominant omega,” I told him, “you can control your heat, as well as your libido. But I wonder if you can still keep your libido on check, if you were to be separated from your partner for prolonged periods of time.”
“You mean, kung matagal kaming maghihiwalay?” he clarified. I nodded. “Sa totoo lang, ngayon pa lang, `di na `ko mapakali dahil dalawang araw ko nang `di nakikita si Nathan... Feeling ko nga mababaliw na ko kung `di ko pa s’ya makakasama!”
“Do not worry, I’m sure he will wake up soon. It is important, though, that you visit him and stay by his side for a bit, to help him recover. A mate’s pheromones also play a part in a person’s well being.”
“Pero... inaayos pa ng superiors ko ang kaso ko, kaya for now, under provision ako at bawal pang lumapit sa kan’ya...”
“If that is the case, then I will call your superiors and –“
“`Wag!” he blurted out. “Don’t tell anyone about it... hayaan mo’ng... ako ang magsabi sa kanila. Besides, I’m not sure if I want them to know about us being faited pairs... ayoko’ng pati si Nathan, gamitin nila para mapasunod ako... also... I’m not even sure if Nathan really is my pair... ni wala s’yang sinasabing kakaibang amoy na naaamoy niya mula sa akin...”
“On the contrary, telling your superiors that Nathan is your fated pair would actually benefit you both,” I told him. “Being a DOME, they would do anything to keep you satisfied, and if that means keeping your mate safely by your side, then it is well worth the risk.”
Reubert fell silent and seemed to think about this.
“You have a point there...”
“Exactly. Admit the truth and tell them you went amok after seeing your pair being molested inside the club. That would be a viable reason.”
“Tama... marami ngang kaso ng mga dominant alphas na nagpapakawala ng pheromones `pag nabibigla sila... lalo na kung may kinalaman `to sa kanilang partners...” he mumbled. “Pero... paano na ang kaso sa Club A? Paano maipapaliwanag kung ba’t nagwala ang mga tao roon?”
“The professor is already working on that,” I told him, “He is currently recreating a drug which they could use as the culprit. We are still smoothing out the rough edges, but rest assured that he will come up with a plan soon.”
“Salamat naman kung ganoon...” He gave a deep sigh. “Ang problema na lang talaga ay si Nathan... sana magising na s’ya... at sana... sana hindi na siya pilit na tumakbo palayo sa akin...”
“Well, there is a way to keep him with you.”
Reubert looked at me bright eyed.
“Talaga, doc? Paano?”
“When you have s*x, do you do it raw?”
I watched as his face turned red.
“T-that’s...”
“This is all in the interest of Science,” I assured him.
“W-well... we’ve only ever done it twice... in two different occations... at laging biglaan, kaya...”
“Good!”
“Huh?”
“Mates who do it raw get even closer to each other. I believe you’re the top?”
Again, he turns red.
“Y-yes... ako ang dominant sa relationship namin.”
“Then my suggestion to you is to do it raw as often as you can, as soon as he leaves the hospital,” I told him. “As long as he is willing, of course.”
“O-of course!”
“And there’s one more thing that I want you to note for me,” I added, “I have always been curious about a dominant omega’s partner. I wonder how a relationship would turn out, if the dominant omega decides to top their alpha. Would they then, have a reverse in their roles?”
“What do you mean, Dr. Aahmes?” Reubert frowned at me.
“The secondary genders came out due to a lack of female populace,” I explained. “The reverse is seen in certain organisms, when a male expires and only females are left in the colony, the dominant female would then change its s*x and proceed to mate with other females in the group. I have wanted to persue this study.”
“I don’t think I follow, Dr. Abdel.” he said.
I smile at him and watch him back away.
“Then let me explain,” I told him. “Let’s have a little harmless experiment. As fated pairs, I know for a fact that you two won’t be able to stay away from each other. All you have to do is let nature take its course. Have s*x as often as you can, and do it raw. Try to keep your seeds inside your partner for as long as possible. Preferably, overnight...”
“Pero... sasama ang pakiramdam ni Nathan `pag `di ko s’ya nilinis!”
“Do it gradually. Douche him on the first occasions, then lengthen the time before you clean him, until you stop altogether. See if he still compains of abdominal pains.”
“At ano naman ang ibig sabihin `pag hindi na sumakit ang tiyan niya?”
“Then that means that there’s something changing in his body.”
“Anong change naman `yun?”
“A change in appetite, muscle tone, mood, skin texture and his over all appearance,” I continued, “He would start to look and act more feminine until...”
Reubert starts to laugh.
“Doc, imposible naman `yang iniisip mo!” he blurted out, “He’s a full grown alpha male, isang dominant pa kamo, iniisip mo pa na magiging omega s’ya?!” he continued, laughing.
“No,” I replied, “I expect something else.”
I looked at him seriously. Reubert stopped laughing.
“Just what are you implying?” he asked.
“Just do as I said, and tell me if there are any changes,” I added. “You have nothing to lose, after all, and something extra to gain.”
