POV: Adan Bradford My driver dropped me off at Calla's place. Although we lived nearby, it was the very first time that I was going to her house. One of the popular girls in school, Kaycee, was having a birthday party at her place and had invited my friends and me. We were to each come with a date, and I had told Calla to be my date. I stepped out of the backseat of the latest car my father had purchased, a silver Mercedes Benz, dressed up in a pair of dark jeans, white sneakers, a white t-shirt, and a flannel jacket. On my hands were several pieces of bracelets and a necklace made from pure gold embraced my neck.
