With one look at Calla’s face, anyone could tell instantly that she was in a state of confusion as to the accusation Eugenia laid on her. At that moment, I didn’t even care to know who was wrong and who was right; all I just wanted to do was to protect my mate from the embarrassment she was currently facing.
No one even bothered or wanted to know exactly what was going on, and just like that, they had all believed what Eugenia had said and were either gossiping in hushed tones or saying it aloud, not even caring that she was Adan Bradford’s mate, which was surprising.
