The night was too quiet around them as darkness was now consuming both Jude and Sylvian and there everything was extremely quiet as well. The only noise that they both could heed to was the wheels that were gliding through the room and the engine running. There was nothing else, nothing more than that.
It seemed like everything else was blocked away from them or, at least for Sylvian it was this way as she had done for herself.
