With my fingers and hands interlaced together, sitting on my lap, I was slowly being consumed by nervousness as we took a turn on Spafford Lane. I was having cold sweats again in my hands and I was starting to fidget. I kept on tapping my feet restlessly while my eyes roamed around the road we were taking.
I had never been to Spafford Lane. I didn't have any agenda to come here so it would be my first time after living in Fairbanks for almost my whole life. I should be intrigued with the surroundings but I didn't even pay that much attention. My thoughts were fixed on our destination.
