Chapter 9
Last night was amazing, Raphael is an amazing, considerate, and caring lover. I didn’t think yesterday when I got up that I would be out of my pack with an amazing mate and already marked and mated. Yes, the plan was to leave as soon as possible, but Raphael was a welcome bonus to the plans.
I do feel slightly bad that I am here happy with my mate when I don’t know what is going to happen to my birth pack. People have already died, and I know that it will not be the last of it. I know they wouldn’t have given me a second thought if the roles were reversed, but I am not like them, and I can not stand back and let people be hurt.
