TAMMY
It's on a Saturday morning and I have nothing much to do. The kids have been taken by their parents and I'm all alone in the big house. It feels so empty!
I'm done with breakfast preparations and as I take it, I pick my phone from the nightstand and start scrolling though it. There's a message notification and I click on it. The message is from a new number which I haven't saved.
And I read it aloud..
*Call her. She's Cate, Fridah's maid.* The message is followed by a number. I panic instantly. Whose number is this? Can I trust the sender?
I decide to call the sender first but the number goes straight to voicemail. I try checking it out in Truecaller but I find no information under it.
I'm so messed up. Either way, I call the number given and it's picked immediately.
“Cate?”
