I stir, opening my eyes to a bright sunny morning.
Warm and comfortable between clean, crisp sheets, I take a moment to orientate myself and am overwhelmed by a sense of joy.
Of course, I’m in Robin's bed...
He is sitting at the edge of the bed, grinning from ear to ear. I'm yet to know what's so amusing!
He strokes my cheek with his knuckles, instantly giving me a sense of belonging....
Oh my! This is where I belong...with him, beside him, in his arms!
He leans in and presses his lips onto my forehead. “Good morning, Tammy,” He
whispers and kisses my temple.
