GreenHales
The soaring clouds unveiled the sun causing the rays to shine into her eyes. She slowly sat up and stared around in confusion. Everything seemed out of order but her Head was just too blank to comprehend the situation she was in.
*Seraphina's POV*
“Where am I? Father, where are you?” I mumbled, fidgeting Around trying to find my father in the thick fog. I stood up and started moving. The sound of someone approaching me made me come to an Abrupt stop.
A man emerged from the fog and grabbed my hand. “There is a one here!” He yelled. My heart throbbed in fear as I wondered who in the world he is.
He tried pulling me away from the fogs but I resisted. “Who are you? Let go of me!” I yelled on top of my voice.
“be at ease young lady, we're only trying to help you here!” The man said still struggling to make me calm down.
I screamed and kicked his legs, causing him to finally let go of me. As soon as I was free from his grasp, I took off facing an unknown direction.
Knowing well that he'd try chasing after me, I ran as fast as I could towards the fog again. Suddenly, a strange man jumped out and tried to get a hold of me. I fell on my butt and stared at him in fear.
He had teeths growing out and his eyes were Fierce looking. “What...what are you?” I asked. The first man had caught up quickly and I watched as he changed into a monster.
In the blink of an eye, He killed the man and changed into his man form again. “ You shouldn't be running around here. The thirsty blood suckers are still around here.” The man said.
I was still too baffled by what I just witnessed. He reached out his hand to me and I reluctantly too it. “ I am Astrid, I'll take you away from here. You'll be safe now.” He said.
“Okay...” I mumbled and took his soft hands. He helped me back to my feet and we both walked away from the fogs. We soon reached a horse and climbed it.
Some men emerged on more horses. “There was still one left?” one of the men asked Astrid. He nodded in affirmation.
“We will be heading to the kingdom now. The Alpha of my pack would surely be happy to meet you.” Astrid said. I nodded without even understanding what he was talking about.
The horse started galloping away. We rode for about ten minutes before we reached a huge town. “This is the Green Hales, you'll live here from now.” Astrid stated.
I stared around at the huge buildings. So many people roamed the streets and expensive looking things that looked like a small room, were been dragged around by horses.
It finally dawned on me that I was in a new town but without my father. He was the only one I had and can remember from the past now.
All I remember is that I live in a small hut with him but woke up on the surface of the Earth the today. “What about my father. We need to go back for my father.” I said meekly.
Astrid stared at me and was quiet. “Did you hear me mister? I really need to go back for him. He's all I have left.” I stated.
“Your father probably ran off or has been taken in by the Vampires. We will find him later.” Astrid replied. I was quite now, pondering on what the word Vampire meant.
“The person that attacked me. He was a vampire?” I asked. Astrid nodded his head in affirmation. I sighed.
The horses suddenly halted in front of a huge house. We all alighted and I was led in by the men. Astrid asked some women to get me cleaned up.
I was in a strange room that had a little stream in it. Which I was later told, is a tub. The women bath me and made me wear a different silky clothe.
After I was cleaned, They showed me to a room where I'd be staying with some other young women. The room was completely different from the one I lived in with my father. It was spacious and the fragrance was mesmerizing.
Astrid came about an hour later. “Alpha Gordon is here. He'd like to speak with you.” He said. I didn't know who he was taking about but nodded anyways.
He led me outside and we walked to the living room. A tall, fierce looking man sat on a couch whilst eating an apple. I took a deep breath and walked to a couch.
“Oh, she's here.” He said as soon as he noticed my presence. Astrid bowed to him and walked to the doorway.
“Take a seat.” He commanded. I took a deep breath and obliged to his command.
He dropped the apple. “ I am Gordon, Alpha of the Blue moon pack.” He said confidently. I bowed my head slightly.
“I am Seraphina...” I said meekly. He noticed how scared I was and chuckled at my foolishness. My heart was throbbing in fear just by speaking to him, I could tell how strong he was by his Aura.
“You do not need to be scared of me. From today, you're now a member of the Blue moon pack. You'll be serving my Pack from now on.” He said confidently.
I still wasn't understanding what he was talking about. “ When will you help me find my father?” I asked. That was what I valued most and didn't resist to ask him.
Alpha Gordon turned to Astrid, they both chuckled softly. “I already arranged for men to search for him. He'll be found very soon.” He said with a broad smile.
I nodded, satisfied by his assurance to find my father. “You should make yourself comfortable in my pack. Everyone will treat you nice. I can guarantee that.” Alpha Gordon said, smiling broadly.
Rationally, I believed everything would turn out well for me in my new life. And He has also promised to help me find my father, that's the most important thing to me.
