Chapter 11. Back to normal
The next morning I was bored and was too lazy to go to school. So I didn't. I just made my mind about it and I asked Carl to call the school and pretend to be dad. Carl already had my dad's voice, so it was easy.
I spent the day with my two brothers. Being with them relaxed my mind and I stopped thinking about Asher altogether. He would always put damp in my mood and I wasn't ready for that.
We talked about everything and anything in the world and goofed around and then Brian cooked and they told me stories of college and how it was fun, but also hard, because they also had to be adults.
