Maggie shrugged. “Just fine. Let’s get started.”
After warming up, Maggie said, “Today, I’m going to focus on defense. You’re going to learn how to accept blow after blow without getting hurt at all.”
“Sounds like fun.”
Maggie threw a slow-motion jab at Janet’s jaw. “What would you do if saw this blow coming?”
“I’d duck to get out of the way.”
“Not bad. Any other ideas?”
“I’d block it.”
“That’s also good. But happens if you don’t see it fast enough – like this.” She snapped a quick jab that barely grazed again her chin.

“Exactly. That’s why you need to learn about another technique. It’s called rolling with the punches.”
