The Handfasting ceremony was over and the wedding guests, those who had received formal invitations, had gathered at the tables in the castle’s Great Hall to celebrate with Tony and Cerdic. The food for the wedding dinner—varied and sumptuous from the pottage through the desserts—was enjoyed by one and all.
