  ~Avery~   I looked at Alex, his eyes pleading for me to tell him something he wanted to hear, I knew what I had too do and I wasn't going to let anyone else suffer for it.   I looked around the field, my family looking back at me. The moon was gleaming but all I could see was darkness and despair. Many times it wasn't what the eye could make out, but what our mind was telling us too envision and for me it wasn't pretty. The clouds were ash-colored as they sat thick up on the dark sky, the moon a ball of mass that didn't glow as it usually did, and around me the green grass didn't sway in the wind, it looked burnt, dead and hopeless.
