We arrived at the city where the conference was going to take place, it's an annual ceremony scheduled under the directive of the moon goddess aimed at promoting unity among Alphas and packs. Last time Lucian went as a mere Alpha, and probably alone because you can only attend with your fated mate or your chosen mate whom you're married to. Lucian didn't qualify for this then.
This time around, however happened and he found his mate with me, despite the challenges he still went with me, something I didn't expect and I believe most of the Alphas who know him well wouldn't agree to, but ask to know what happened. Best of all is that he was going to preside since he has been chosen and appointed as the Alpha King, the only thing left for him was coronation.
