Estina's POV
The response timer popped up on the screen, she had answered the call. Tension spiraled over me and I was just about to stammer when my friend who knew what was going inside of me tapped me.
"Don't worry, it's alright!" Though she didn't really say it out, I grabbed it through her lips movement. I nodded my head.
"Hello mom, how have you been?" I started with pleasantries, hoping to have her reply me in a good way. If she does, then I'm good to go.
"My baby, how is life going on over there?" Her tone was soaked with sorrows, she didn't need to ask. She already knew what I was going through, but since she had asked. I'll use this chance and tell her what I have in mind.
"Mom, I had an important discussion which I wanted having with you."
