“Did she eat?” I mind linked Nik.
“She devoured it, Alpha.” He said. My chest filled with warmth, happy that my mate has a full belly tonight. I do hope she enjoyed it.
“I’ve decided that I’m coming back,” I said. I couldn’t stay here when she was only a few minutes away from me. I grabbed my blanket and walked out of the Alphas room. They had already removed all the old Alpha’s things and put mine in here.
“Yes, alpha.” He replied. I cut the link and walked toward the hospital.
The guards that seemed exhausted, jolted and stood straight as I walked by them.
